Iodine is primarily absorbed in the small intestine. It is absorbed through a process called passive diffusion, where it moves across the intestinal lining and into the bloodstream. Once in the bloodstream, iodine is transported to the thyroid gland where it is used to produce thyroid hormones. Any excess iodine that is not needed by the body is excreted through the urine. **

The antifreeze absorbed was 0.5 liters. **

No, cacti cannot absorb negative rays from electrical devices in the bedroom. Negative rays from electrical devices are not a scientifically recognized phenomenon, and there is no evidence to suggest that cacti or any other plant can absorb such rays. It is important to focus on practical solutions for reducing exposure to electromagnetic fields, such as using devices at a safe distance and turning them off when not in use. **

Yes, aluminum foil can absorb radiation. Aluminum is a good conductor of heat and electricity, and it can also absorb and reflect radiation. However, the amount of radiation absorbed by aluminum foil depends on the type and intensity of the radiation. For example, aluminum foil is commonly used to shield and protect food from microwaves, which are a form of electromagnetic radiation. **

It is difficult to determine if the friend is extremely self-absorbed without more context or specific examples of their behavior. The body absorbs calories through the process of digestion and metabolism. When we eat food, the body breaks it down into its basic components, including carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. These components are then absorbed into the bloodstream and used for energy or stored for later use. If the body absorbs more calories than it needs, the excess calories are stored as fat. Therefore, the absorption of calories is a crucial part of the body's energy balance and overall health. **

It would be unfair to make a blanket statement about all millionaires being arrogant and self-absorbed. Just like any other group of people, millionaires come from diverse backgrounds and have different personalities. While some millionaires may exhibit these traits, many others are humble, generous, and use their wealth to make a positive impact in the world. It's important to avoid making assumptions about individuals based solely on their financial status. **

Magnesium oxide is not well absorbed by the body. It has a low bioavailability, meaning that only a small percentage of the magnesium in magnesium oxide supplements is actually absorbed by the body. This is due to its poor solubility in water, which makes it difficult for the body to break down and utilize. As a result, other forms of magnesium, such as magnesium citrate or magnesium glycinate, are often recommended for better absorption. **
